FLX-E Control and Reporting Application

Stewart Audio's FLX-E Control and Reporting Application allows the user to configure and monitor FLX-E Series amplifiers via an Ethernet (TCP/IP) connection). It features an intuitive user interface for configuration of I/O configurations, gain stages, compression, filtering, mixing, and delays. When connected to the device under configuration it provides realtime configuration with signal level feedback.

A new version (V1015) was released on October 1, 2019. This version fixes a problem retrieving mute status via an IP-based controller. If you are not using an IP-based controller,you do not need this version.

New Firmware Version Released for FLX-E Series Amplifiers

Stewart Audio has released firmware version V025 for the FLX-E Series amplifiers on October 7, 2019. It is to be used with FLX-E Control and Reporting Application software versions V1014 or V1015. You can check the current firmware version of your hardware on the system screen of the FLX-E Control and Reporting application. You can also check the current PC application version by selecting Program tab and About... from the dropdown menu. This version fixes a problem controlling single channel levels via RS-232 or IP-based commands.

The new V025 device firmware (.hex) file is downloaded by clicking here.

To update the device firmware, start the FLX-E Control and Reporting application and select the devices to be updated on the system screen by clicking the checkbox(es). Then select "Update Firmware on Selected Devices" from the System drop-down menu. This will open a file selection window. Navigate to the location of the downloaded FLX_E Firmware App V025 10-07-19.hex file and select it. Click "open" to start the upgrade process. All selected amplifiers will be sequentially upgraded.
